BTRS Books is the pod-to-pub imprint for the BENEATH THE RAIN SHADOW podcast. Its first publication is Rain Shadows (2025; BTRS Books). Future Rain Shadows editions and collections—based on each season of the podcast—will also be published under this imprint.

BTRS Books will also serve as the publisher for future books of dark contemporary fiction written by PNW authors/poets and/or set in the PNW. At present, these projects will take place by invitation only. There are no submission guidelines available at this time.

The BTRS Patreon will be upgraded in 2026 to generate support for the second collection of Rain Shadows, featuring work from all four co-hosts—Clay Vermulm, Tamara Kaye Sellman, M.
